Introductions and Lambs (well not really)

Since this is my first blog post (ever), I actually seriously considered calling this post Hello World! but I decided against it for the sake of not being boring and seeming overeager (even though I am excited about this blog). As my About page states, I got this idea after watching The Silence of the Lambs. I’ve been pretty bored this summer thanks to my lack of a job, so I’ve been watching movies on Netflix Instant. After watching  half of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as well as The Silence of the Lambs all in one day, I still wanted to watch another movie. I was then struck with the (hardly) revolutionary idea of starting a blog about the movies I watch this summer and writing reviews of them. Over the course of the next 92 days, I will go through my list of films to watch and give you all my opinions, thoughts, reactions, questions, etc. My goal is to watch 92 films this summer. My list is composed of random movies that I’ve always wanted to see, movies that I feel slightly obligated to see as a film major, or in a few cases, movies I simply want to re-watch. Hopefully I’ll learn more about why I love movies and what inspires me to be a filmmaker. As for my (currently non-existent) readers, I hope you all enjoy reading my posts and are inspired to watch movies you wouldn’t have considered before.
